Malta Day 12: The watch continues
What would happen if we weren't here?
I don't know, this guy may be honest and wouldn't shoot the marsh harrier. However, I have seen plenty of birds of prey and storks, and flamingos shot on these islands. So I'm glad I was here.
However, even if he is, he is still out shooting Turtle Doves, a species in decline across Europe.
For those who are interested we had 20 marsh and montys lift off today and head north to Europe to breed.
