Mummy Duck Said...................

...............Quack, quack, quack, quack and TEN little ducks came swimming back :-))
I had to take my car into the garage for a long sleepover (they are keeping it until Friday) to try to find the cause of the battery drain that is giving me so many problems. I have a loan car so I'm not without transport but it's a very basic small car that is making me realise how much I like my own. I often refer to my car as a museum piece because it's so old (14 yrs) but at least it has a few 'mod cons', which I now know I just can't do without. As I was driving around in the loan car I got hotter and hotter in the lovely sunshine even though the heater was turned off, I fiddled around with the fan to get some cool air in and wished I had my air conditioning. That still didn't cool me down enough so I thought I would open the window, after fiddling around whilst driving trying to locate the button to open the window I came across a large handle on the door that I had to laboriously turn in a circle to get the window open - I haven't used one of those for more years than I can remember!! I rapidly came to the conclusion that I have been completely spoilt in the car department and take such a lot for granted because the loan car is not particularly old just not a very high spec. I can't wait to get mine back and I take back all the horrid things I have said about it recently, I now think I should appreciate it a bit more because you don't know what you've got until you lose it :-))
