Apple Blossom

Our cherry pollinator has now lost all of its blossom and our large cherry tree is not far behind, going out of the back door is like running into a large amount of confetti as the bloom blows off of the cherry tree. Although our apple trees have been showing some degree of pink flower buds, very few of them have opened so far, so today’s picture is of one of the flowers that has just opened. Assuming that the weather does not turn very cold or windy in the near future, it looks as though we are going to have a bumper crop of cherries and apples.
