flickering lights

Seemed to have spent most of today in a very cold church of england church. It all looked very pretty up on a little hill surrounded by snow against a clear blue sky... but by eck it was cold inside.

first service included 2 baptisms...not many of the congregation made it but we had 90 visitors from the baptism families

2nd service at 3pm - Bishop arrived to ordain one of our number, rounded off with a small buffet tea. This service was closely followed by the 6pm carols by candlelight and that was rounded off with mulled wine and mince pies!

Managed to get car back home and on the drive and now safely tucked up in the warm. So not looking forward to getting up and getting out to work tomorrow!
