...is 'furnishings'.

Nothing to do with cushions, throws, sofas or even curtains but are (in doggy lingo) 'the long hair on the head, tail and other extremities found on some breeds.'

One of the many wonderful things about walking with six schnauzers and their 'mums' is listening to the day to day necessities of having dogs with beards and other 'furnishings'.
Astro has no furnishings and gets a bath when he gets sweaty or rolls in something atrocious smelly!
