Beautiful purple tulips...

...that were delivered to me on Easter by Nikki, the wonderful young woman who will marry my oldest grandson in October, thereby becoming my third granddaughter. I couldn't be more delighted. The tulips, a gift from Nikki's mother, are a perfect color for Easter and a very thoughtful gift that warmed my heart.

I took the picture this afternoon so I could create a "thank you" card. I am a big time procrastinator about writing letters and sending cards, and I'm really happy to say this card is ready to go into the morning mail! That's nothing short of amazing, but it shows how much I appreciate this special gift.
