It's all about the doctors...

I spent much of the day at the hospital with MrsCyclops. There wasn't anything dramatic happening, but I wanted to be there when the doctors came around, then another doctor was due, then she had another scan... She's doing OK - although her blood pressure isn't quite behaving itself yet. The baby seems oblivious to any problem - wiggling about happily for the ultrasound and getting an "A" from the midwife who did the scan!

The remainder of the day I spent cleaning carpets - I decided to hire a machine to give the nursery carpet a deep clean and it seemed sensible to do the hall, stairs and living room at the same time. Lots of furniture to move, lots of edge bits to do by hand, and lots of refills for the rug doctor. I was a bit skeptical that something hired from a supermarket would do any good, but the carpets look much better. The amount of filthy water that came out of the waste tank is terrifying - the carpets really needed cleaned! Eugh...
