My street - once again ...

This is kind of an emergency blip. I was browsing through facebook statuses, when suddenly I saw a blip of the day from a friend of mine. Then it hit me ... I had totally forgotten to take a picture today.
That's perhaps not so strange, considering the circumstances. I've been taking care of my mother, who has had a very bad day. Her hip is getting worse, and she is in so much pain. It's exhausting for her, and makes me feel very powerless, as there is nothing I can do to make her feel better. X-rays have shown that the screws used to nail her bone have not stayed in place, and now it looks as she might need another surgery. We were hoping that things would turn around for her, and the pain would subside, but at this moment it does not look to good.
