Damage

Not the best start to the working week with the blumming car failing to start. AA man arrived and declared the battery to be at fault. This would be the brand new battery bought from the AA 3 months ago. Further tests, funnily enough resulted in the battery not being faulty but some unknown random drain. Ho hum, he got it started and it set off for work with 15 mins to spare.

Got to the bridge approach to find that despite the website saying there were no lane closures the pre Easter one was still in force....30 mins crawl and a hasty call to work to get a colleague to stand in for me on the workshop I was presenting. Oh how cheerful I was when I finally got to work

So, a walk was needed this evening to clear the head and raise the spirit. We took a variation on a theme route to avoid the wind off the sea and found this damaged tree. Sad to see but so many of them around this year.

A work from home day tomorrow. I shall leave it to Mr Lif to try starting the car..... :)
