Balcony clematis

This clematis has had a chequered history. The first couple of years it attached itself to the balcony and grew very leggy with very few flowers. We cut it back, repotted it, and gave it a homemade trellis to play with. And this year, it's done fantastically well, despite the fact that it's around the west side of the balcony and lives in the teeth of the gales and storms.

Sadly, I don't know how much I will see of these flowers, as I'm off on my travels again tomorrow morning. But the brief visit home has been most pleasurable...
