There's zebras on the starboard bough...

An elongated bank holiday weekend meant we had a Chessington adventure today. A hearty moon hotel breakfast of cereal, yoghurt, dippy egg & soldiers, 2 sausages, a croissant, apple juice & blueberry muffin was consumed by the boy. While I stuck to the traditional with a mug of tea. All was v tasty and the idea was that way there would be no need for yucky theme park food (just obligatory ice-cream).

The day started out grey & damp with occasional rain but had dried up by the time we parked up and started to queue.

The boy was a joy to be with. Never complained about having to queue for anything, Oooh-ing and Wow-ing after each ride with screams of excitement during the rides. He got his wish for a roller coaster ride albeit a kiddie version and has decided he's going to be big enough to go in the big ones next time. He declared his favourite ride was the jungle Zufari which is where we saw the zebras....and went through the scary cave with waterfalls and shooting water :)

The long drive home was easy with a grinning little miniman sat beside me singing along to the iPod. What a glorious couple of days we've had.
