After the rain

Well it poured again last night and in to the morning. When it had finally ceased enough to head out we decided to go to one of our favourite places - Nymans Gardens!

We have all had a busy weekend, a lot of it spent indoors visiting people so it was great to let the twins splash in some puddles and let off a bit of steam!

We discovered a few new hidden corners today and the twins were delighted to find the winter covers have finally come off the statues - especially the lion, their favourite.

I was pleased to see the fountain re-opened, it has been cleaned and repaired and the colours in the stone are much more visible.

However the shot I chose today of the mansion was perfect for how I feel - a bit run down and tired but colour hopefully creeping in again!
