#Health Education in #India

The KEM hospital in Pune is one of our local partners in India. One of their main focuses' is identifying and treating needlessly disabling conditions in young children. IMPACT believes prevention is better than cure, so the KEM hospital works with the communities in Pune, providing health education and medical action where necessary, ensuring any conditions are treated before they can cause permanent disability.

Health Education sessions, as pictured here, are essential in the fight against needless disability. Last year the KEM Hospital reached over 35,000 people; empowering them with knowledge about health matters in order to improve their own wellbeing.
