Broken

Spent 4 hours this morning in Accident and Emergency waiting for my finger to be seen and x-rayed. Turns out i have a small piece of bone floating near the knuckle after a footballing accident last night, apparently there's nothing they can do, so they packed me off with a bandage and some pain killers.

This was my view for those 4 hours - hardly anyone there - so why did it take so long?
