Double-crested Cormorant

It was a beautiful morning, cool enough that I need a sweater for a trip to the park. Moira and I biked over to the park for a long nature walk and playtime at the playground. We saw this beautiful cormorant along with two others sitting on the wall at the lake. I love the beauty of their eyes. As we were leaving the park, Moira asked if we could stay longer so we could find some cardinals. It really was time to go, so I told her we would look on the ride home. We were almost out of the park when we heard the familiar cardinal chirp. Moira got her wish to see her favorite bird, the cardinal!
