Easter bonanza

A day squished too full of goodness. Neice's second birthday with overly skinny perfectionist sis in law, sandcastle cake and awkward meeting of families. Mine all chaos, noise and academic, her side all fake tan, package holidays and consumer aspiration, still we got on over sausage rolls and pink lemonade (everything was pink) everything. She, the gal of the day was in fine form. The cutest poppet ever. Then unexpectedly early return of friend d from Amsterdam meant I missed part two, which was nephew's 4th birthday at sister m's house. She furious. If I could splice and clone myself with guilt I would but friend d is staying with me and I have to leave so that I can catch up with d today nd babysit for m next week and ... Gawd it gets complicated. Anyway a tasty dinner later it is great to see d back with her new boyfriend a. A happy hopeful couple at last.
