Evening stroll

We dropped the in laws at relatives this morning and then went for a wander round Morpeth - it's a nice little town and we did a bit of shopping, then sat out in the sun for lunch. It was really warm and I even went to invest in a bottle of sun cream!

Hubby's auntie is very poorly so we hadn't stayed but called back to pick his mum and dad up and say hello to his uncle. We had promised Lottie we would go to the beach and Newbiggin looked inviting in the brochures so we drove across there. What a difference a few miles made - it was blowing a gale and freezing!! Charlotte played on the beach for a short while before we sought refuge in the maritime centre for a drink!!

After tea we had a wander round Bamburgh and found a pub for tea later in the week. Another beautiful sunset!

Thoughts today were with those families who lost loved ones at Hillsborough in 1989. YNWA x
