Currently..

Mum had another heart attack last night, and was rushed into Bristol hospital. She's had a stent inserted, and is recovering. Her last one was a year or two ago. She is now getting quite frail, troubles with plumbing, hearing, and eyes. I phone her daily, but find it difficult to get down to see her often enough. What with commitments on the croft, and to my buyers. I have a flight booked for three weeks time.

She has my eldest brother and my nephew, both living within 10 miles, and they see her often. My middle brother is in Blackpool, and a couple of hours away. I'm in the far North, and it is two days drive, and I'm "jet-lagged" when I get there.. It's a good 5 or 6 hours when I fly..

It was a big part of our decision process when we moved up here..

Went down to A's to work out if we have enough money to pay for the Sports Pavilion. Looks like we'll be in the region of £700 short. That'll come out of our "general" funds..

Then went rotorvating, until the drop arm on the hydraulics broke. End of field work until we get a new part.. More pressures..

These are the currant bushes we planted a month ago, 50 plus of them, and they're all doing well..
