A surprising kick!!!

Kind sister in law gave us this interesting posh fudge. The first taste is of normal rich, sweet Scottish fudge, but then the "kick" comes, leaving a very strong aftertaste. We shared it round family guest without revealing it's ingredients. The reactions were, in one case in particular,
