Glorious sunshine on a bank holiday!

We checked the weather forecast yesterday evening and headed for the nearest sunny coast which was Southend. And the sun did not disappoint us. Had a walk along the pier - all 1 1/4 miles of it then chilled (and snoozed!) on the beach. Then when just too many motor bikes arrived we drove up to Molden to see the Thames sailing barges, reminding me of a holiday I had on one when I was about 8 - too many years ago to remember clearly. Feeling nicely glowing now from the sun - what a glorious bank holiday.
