Rascaletta is doing fine!

Here she is again, and someone else has shown up to help devour the feast Bob spread on the snow for her. The time of year has arrived when all a person has to do is stop on the trail, and the deer will wander over to see if it might mean a treat for them.

As you can see, we got a little snow today. The northwestern edge of that storm that dumped feet of snow on the east coast brought us 2-3 inches. It brightens up the wintry landscape, wouldn't you say? It also gives more light for blipping in the early evening, which made me happy. The deer must have liked it too because they were dashing, racing, leaping, and almost dancing. We watched as eight or so of these elegant animals, including Rascaletta, dashed through the darkening woods, over and around any obstacles in their path. I wish I could have shared that amazing sight with you.
