Black Belt

Well today was the day!! Our granddaughter went through 3 rigorous hours of her final testing today to be awarded her Black Belt. An accomplishment and a commitment that took her about 3 years to get to. These last 6 months for her have been unbelievable. She went through several testings and today she made it.

We are so proud of her!! Congratulations, we love you very much. This is her with two of her instructors. She is fantastic!!

I also took almost 300 pictures today. Mostly of all the karate testing but a few other interesting things too.

After the Black Belt testing today, we went for a late lunch at this very nice Italian Restaurant . They had murals on the wall, one being The Godfather and the others were of The Goodfellows and the Sopranos and Scarface. Excellent food too.
And lastly a big beautiful outdoor Christmas Tree.
