Stourbridge Times
Had to take this afternoon off work for a funeral, which was actually quite nice (well, as nice as these things can be), and afterwards Ma and I took a trip to Stourbridge to attend a gig that was raising money for the Gambia Schools Project. It was an odd affair; lots of entertainment (musicians, a belly dancer, a poet) but due to the sheer volume of performers, each act was very short. Felt a bit disconnected and didn't really give you much chance to get into it. Still, I had a lot of fun chatting and spending time with my lovely Ma :)
I believe this lady was the one who organised the whole event. She was somewhat bossy and incredibly annoying, but she sure could play that violin!
