Norma

Friends Norma and Jessie were out for a walk and decided to drop by. They had ended up walking a lot further than they'd meant to, so were fair puggled by the time they reached me.

Luckily there just happened to be carrot cake and shortbread in the tins, which went down well with a big pot of tea. Jessie dunked her shortbread in her tea. She won't be asked back ;-)

The three of us go back a long way, to the 80s when our children were still at primary school and we played badminton in the afternoons once a week. When the badminton club folded many years later we carried on seeing each other for the occasional evening out, either for a meal or to the cinema, but various commitments have resulted in a lack of contact for a couple of years.

It was good to catch up with them today.
