Can You Believe It?

Apologies for the water on the lens. Can't imagine how that happened! Think of it as a cool filter.

Don't know for sure how much snow we got yesterday - I would guess about a foot. Nearby Grantsburg (where we were on Tuesday) recorded 17.5 inches!

I'm guessing this is the really really last ski outing of the year. It was very definitely spring skiing too - trudge, trudge, trudge and no glide. A good workout though.

I forgot to say yesterday that I saw my first bluebird of the season - sitting hunched up in a birch tree looking forlorn (here). He really was a most startling blue colour - like a European kingfisher. I know where you can find a nice, cosy house, Mr. Bluebird!
