These are no ordinary hot cross buns. They are toffee fudge and belgian chocolate hot cross buns. They are utterly delicious. Sister Flowerpower and I have decided that they are now the only option for a teatime treat. They go perfectly with Early Grey tea. They are so good I am even tempted to write two letters. One to Mr Marks and one to Mr Spencer praising them for their new creation and pleading with them to ensure that they continue to bake them throughout the year.

A hot cross bun is for life. Not just for Easter.
