He is ALIVE!!!

"He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay." Matthew 28:6

Today's picture is of the tulips that my mother-in-law and father-in-law brought with them when they came to stay for Easter weekend. I know I have said before that tulips are my favourite flower, but I love seeing them this time of year, it reminds me of spring, and does also remind me of Easter and what Jesus did for us. As you will know from Friday's scripture passage (note that I did not write anything on Friday, I think the Bible speaks for itself in this respect) that Jesus died on a cross, He took on the sin of the world and was crucified.

But this was not the end of Jesus, he rose from the dead, which means today we worship a LIVING God, I worship a LIVING God, not one who died, or one who was, but one who IS, and is still to come. He is ALIVE!! This is a really key point, and one that is overwhelming and exciting. He died for you and me, but He also rose again from the dead, so you and I can have a relationship with Him. WOW....
