'Palais Theatre'

A brilliant concert tonight at the Palais Theatre in St.Kida with three legend of the Blues on the one bill.

Started off with The James Cotton Band, followed by Charlie Musselwhite and finished the night off by the legendary Buddy Guy. What a consummate performer he is. He has the audience totally engaged for the entire time he's on stage, and to still have the passion he shows at 77 years of age is extraordinary.

Another one ticked off my bucket list.

No cameras allowed in to tonight's gig except for mobile phones and the shots I took with my phone weren't good enough quality to put up on blip so her is the venue as we were leaving.

At one stage in the show Buddy disappeared off stage while still playing his guitar and then reappeared in the audience, and it just so happened that there were a few spare seats directly behind where we sat which Buddy came and sat and played, an incredible experience to be so close to the legend.

Another Easter done and dusted, back to reality in a few hours time.
