Backblip

Sadly, I didn't transport myself overnight to the tropics, this is Cistus Nursery on Sauvie Island. A visit to this beautiful nursery is like stepping onto a tropical island for a little while and we had the place completely to ourselves on Sunday afternoon. As you can see, they specialize in (hardy) tropical plants. The Mediterranean Fan Palm that we have in the back yard has been looking very bad since the February snow and I'm not sure it will recover so we thought we'd take a look at replacements, I am very tempted by the Yuccas that you see in the foreground in this picture.
