Head down

After all the outings and jolly chat of the last few days it's been back to the grindstone for the day (albeit from home), preparing for a conference next week and catching up with things on my list. Easy not to feel I was missing out on anything more exciting since the morning was very cloudy and uninviting...although I see it's picking up now. I'll just make another pot of tea and keep at it though. These bright ranunculus flowers are my only companions, and very nice they've been too since they arrived a week ago. They've done well!
