River Crane in Crane Park

There's just a hint of morning mist left in this picture. I should have got out a bit earlier. My first run for nearly 2 weeks, it was lovely to be out on such a beautiful morning. The birds were all singing as loudly as they could and everything looked refreshed by yesterday's downpours. I did about 4.5 miles. It was nice to just run, and not bother about pace, or have a target distance. Left calf is a bit stiff now so it'll get some tennis ball treatment later on.

Baking a rhubarb and almond cake now.... Mmmmm
