The arrival

Got up this morning to take some pictures of our 'wedding' tree. Elegantly composed shots of filtered sunshine through the Japanese Maple leaves, perfectly placed drops of dew and AAARGH! an aphid, slap bang in the centre. Of course, only noticed this afterwards :-)
Heres' an alternative garden drop-in, and more welcome.
A self-seeded double Aquilegia from who knows where, but getting bigger & more robust by the year.
