a dish fit for the gods

Brutus:
Let's be sacrificers, but not butchers, Caius.
. . . And, gentle friends,
Let's kill him boldly, but not wrathfully;
Let's carve him as a dish fit for the gods,
Not hew him as a carcass fit for hounds;
And let our hearts, as subtle masters do,
Stir up their servants to an act of rage,
And after seem to chide 'em.

This Shakespeare scene sounds a bit bloody and gory for my taste.
Better to swerve up a nice custard cream cake from the award winning Bindoon Bakery which is the hub of this small country town we drove out to today.
Here Glyn is waiting and looking with drool from his lips on which cake to buy, he chose well!! We had cake fit for the gods!

Bindoon is a town 84 kilometres from Perth city on the Great Northern Highway within the Shire of Chittering. The name Bindoon is thought to be Aboriginal in origin and to mean "place where the yams grow". Wikipedia
