Sanctuary of Truth

Posted a picture of this building a couple of days ago and went to visit today with Kie.... an amazing wooden building between ten and twenty stories high as far as I can make out it was started in the 1980`s by a Thai artist that wanted to recreate the buildings of past it is an ongoing project as you can see from this picture....entirely made from wood the carvings throughout this structure are amazing we visited on an extremely hot day 36 degrees but the Sanctuary was quite cool....

I am in awe of the beauty of this and cannot quite get to grips with the quality of the craftmanship....
