4 fans and mosquito nets

So we made it alive to Illoilo in the Philippines after 21 hours of travelling singing the Frozen soundtrack all the way! We were welcomed with open arms by the other housemates most of them are medics so lots of clever cloggs.
Today we were given the tour of the hospital we're going to be working at, all I'll say is its very very very different (so not to worry the mother). Felt like a celebrity walking round because everyone took loads of photos of us and im not sure they've ever seen a girl taller than 5ft 5 so that was interesting haha.
Before the tour we were introduced to all the staff, it involved a few native songs and a raising of the flag all very lovely felt like a local already! The man in charge, Alvin is hilarious and im working with him in A+E so really looking forward to it :-)
The town itself is really busy and we travelled in these elongated vans about 12 of us packed in the back whizzing around town not sure what side of the road everyone should be on to be honest! Really hot weather so counting on a cracking tan!
Missing everyone already!
