Kite fishing

We went into Orewa with Luke and Ash for breakfast before they head back to Christchurch this afternoon.
We came across a couple of guys with a long line out from the beach, they said the had a kite out at about a thousand metres and if we wanted some fish they were just about to reel in. We didn't want their fish but the boys were happy to get stuck into getting this line in. 1 km of line takes a very long time to get in, and by the time they got it to shore there was quite a crowd. There was only 3 snapper 2 had to go back and 1 was a pannie.
