Easter Sunday, 2014

Today was a sunny-blue-sky day, the sunniest and warmest so far this spring. It was absolutely beautiful! In the morning I was at church for choir practice, the Easter service, and more. Then we spent the afternoon at home. All of our family couldn't join us for Easter dinner, and since we don't have any little kids to color and hunt Easter eggs, we had a pretty quiet meal with good conversation, a traditional Easter ham, sweet potato casserole, pineapple bread pudding (a family favorite), and other side dishes. For dessert there were apple dumplings with ice cream. and now we are full (stuffed to be truthful) and tired. Time for bed, I think!
