Daddy and Sugarbaby

Daddy. How strange, I hadn't called him that since a small child. But when he died, three years ago today, in my mind and heart he once again became Daddy.

Here, he's with his girl Sugarbaby. Daughter of his first horse, Misty, he'd reluctantly sold her to his landlord. The day this picture was taken, he was at his landlord's home wedding, and had gone out to the coral to say hello.
