WINDOW SEAT

Imagine that it is Easter Sunday, 1930. You are sitting in the farmhouse, looking out the window at the lilacs and the glorious New Mexico Springtime weather. Hopefully, this photo will convey that feeling and mental imagery.

The Heritage farmhouse at the ABQ Botanical Gardens is a recreation of a 1930's farmstead, and the way things were done nearly a century ago. I love the simplicity although I can't say that I would willingly give up my modern technological advances to enjoy it again. But...it is nice to imagine and think..."What if?"
