'Happy Easter To All'..............!

Oooooh.......I think the Easter Bunny arrived......!!!!!
and hasn't he left us lots of goodies...................?
But..if any of you have been wondering what our Simnel Cake looked like on the inside...then this is it....
and for those who were asking?!! That's the Apostles on top!!!
And I also have to say that it is one of the nicest fruit cakes I have ever eaten.....!!
The marzipan is beautiful toasted.......
just another one of S's many, many talents...
she also made Soda Bread for the first time last night and it was gorgeous too...!
Have just 'knocked' the ears off that 'grinning' rabbit and eaten them ...yum..!

Was just thinking .........that Rabbit must have arrived while both Mel and Kitty Boy was asleep last night...
Otherwise he wouldn't have stood a chance!!!!!!
Mind you KB was tucked up in his inside bed last night and Mel was inside too...

who is as I type 'beautifying' himself after a dinner of left-overs of the most gorgeous roast lamb we've tasted....
we have a wonderful friend whose husband is a sheep-farmer...
it is the very best of free-range organic Kildare lamb.....!
Have to say my day was a little spoiled ...as because of this ghastly dose
(flu-like) now......I couldnt even get out to see our local Easter Parade..
luckily it starts very close to us so I got to hear the marching bands.....!!
