Family Day

We all had a lie in today, Clare was first up. We then seemed to spend the day eating.

Joshua and I had a cooked breakfast, sorted out some e-mails, loads of shredding, piles of paperwork sorted out; we can nearly see the dining room table top.

As it was a family day it seemed unfair to make someone cook lunch so the Boathouse was booked. Turned out to be a good choice, plain food, well cooked and plenty of it.

A walk through the town in the rain followed, stopping for a Costa before heading home.

Week-end papers with two films, The Day After Tomorrow followed by The Great Escape. Probably MOTD after the news before bed.

I shall probably get up earlier tomorrow to drive Joshua round on his paper round.
