Potarch
The day started quite cool, even though it was sunny, and so I dressed accordingly. When the temperature reached about 17 deg, and other people were wearing t-shirts, I started to feel a bit overdressed in my warm thick padded jacket.
The picture is taken at Potarch, just outside Banchory about 20 miles west of Aberdeen. Our initial early view of the weather suggested we should head inland to get the best of the weather. Lots of cyclists around, both the motorised and the pedal variety.
Later in the day we called in at Crathes Castle Estate which was very busy. Surprisingly I got parked in the normal car park rather than one of the overflows. I fluked a space just as somebody else was leaving.
Supper in the garden in the early evening. When the sun dropped the temperature dipped immediately and the haar arrived giving a cool dampness to the air.
