Look what I made today!

I was given a huge piece of oak for the woodburner but it was such a beautiful piece of wood I felt it was way too beautiful to burn. I thought it would make a lovely garden bench. Chippie hubbie gave me a lesson today in mortice and tenon joints and dowel jointing. With his watchful eye, using HIS power tools, I made this today and not a screw or nail in sight! Just need to sand, finish wood and seal when the weather improves - it has rained all day:-(. I think this is what they call "upcycling" ;-)
