Blackpool is open

After sitting in front of the computer for ages marking assignments I needed a break.

There was a time when Easter was the start of my busiest time at work, when I managed an amusement arcade on the Promenade. So I can relate to all the businesses getting ready for this weekend.
It was always a hard weekend. Suddenly from doing very little over the winter months, the staff really had to up the pace. They invariably did but it was hard work.

When I drove into Blackpool today it was definitely ready for business.

I missed out on the ice cream that I mentioned yesterday. It will have to wait for another day.

Back to the marking when I got home. But wine and Easter eggs have also joined in now.
