Easter Brunch salad
We had our Easter Brunch at my niece & boyfriend's apartment this morning. Delicious quiche and hot cross buns made by my sister-in-law and home fries, bacon & ham done by Sarah. Delicious. My contribution was the pictured watermelon, orange and feta cheese fruit salad dressed with olive oil, chives and parsley.
I ran to join this photo group , the focus is less than sharp, sorry
We're home resting full tummy's. T and I both woke up coughing and we thought it was from all the wood smoke yesterday with the burn pile yard clean up. Unfortunately, T's seems to be lasting and may be another piggyback cold!!!
Tomorrow is a very big day for Boston with the Marathon. It's also a very full and exciting day for us. We plan to meet T's nephew S, so we can cheer on his wife along with him. N was unable to finish the race last year due to the bombings. She was at mile 25.5 she was stopped. S and many of his family were cheering at the finish line and miraculously spared injury. We are also going to be cheering on Paula , a fabulous blip meet. She's here along with her husband and the GIRLS!!! They are staying with DDW who will be hosting us also for drinks before we all go out to dinner together Monday evening. T cannot be sick!!!
For the Record,
This day came in warm and sunny, a perfect Easter Sunday.
Not all hands healthy :( at the moment.)
Watermelon, orange, feta salad recipe I substituted garden chives for red onion.
