Day Two

Gosh. I made it. 36 miles in two days. I feel a bit sick actually. I think I'm over tired. Rooh is ok but I have noticed her behaviour declines when she's tired. She response much better when she is alert. I thought a tired dog was a good dog but puppies are different. They, like children, can get over tired. Humans and dogs are so similar it's scary.

As I said yesterday I love this perfect walking weather (my face is burnt though thanks to that cool breeze) but the village is so busy and I'm finding it hard to adjust back to it. Blah blah blah. Best not to think and just sleep instead.

Rooh keeps reminding me to smile and enjoy the present. She is so good at bringing me 'back down', more aware and more connected with nature again.

Anyway back in the real world, Easter Family Duties call so tomorrow I'll be enjoying a tasty meal, lit fire, game of scrabble and visit from the Easter Bunnie in Ilkley. And for the last time before my parents move to Malham.
