"in the wind"

This photo does not do the gale force winds today any justice! A beautiful, sunny spring day and it was blowing a gale as if we were still in the middle of winter! What is up with our weather?!

After taking 'Fern the Fiesta' for a well needed wash, I drove to Broughty Ferry to take a wander through this lovely place, just round the shoreline from Dundee. It's got lots of quaint little shops and most importantly, it has a proper butcher!! Needless to say I made the most of it!

Broughty Ferry has this charm about it that makes it feel like a busy town back at home, but yet still you are less than 10 miles away from the centre of Dundee. It's very deceiving, but it allows me to escape from city life for a few hours now and again.

It's a year ago to the day since I jumped out of a plane at 10,000ft in my tandem skydive for charity, and I've still got that smile on my face that I had when I landed back on solid ground! It's an experience that I'll never forget and one that I would love to do again!! But for now, I'm quite happy to keep my feet firmly on the ground!
