Between Cologne and Bonn: "to Neunkirchen"

The village (or town) of Neunkirchen in the Bergisches Land is today part of the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid, 25 kms to the south east of Cologne..

The photo must have been taken when the car was stationary, and the church on the horizon is clearly that of Neunkirchen - here I must give thanks to Google's collection of images. Otherwise I can only assume that I was on a trip through the picturesque Bergisches Land. Perhaps the low volume of traffic was another attraction.

One abiding memory of my stay in Cologne was how very cold it was!
