Burn Judas Burn

Happy Easter everyone.

Today, after mass, the statue of Mary and a large empty glass coffin were processed to the main square along with more trumpets and drums. Yesterday a tree was covered in grass and set-up in the middle of the square and an effigy of Judas hung from the top of it. So today it was stuffed with firecrackers and set alight. If you look on large you can see Judas in the process of exploding!
