This (believe it or not) is a bit of the trendy Fünf Höfe shopping precinct in Munich's town centre. I come here fairly regularly because it's where my doctor has his office. I really like it - I was just prompted to find out some more about it and, according to Wikipaedia it is, as its name suggests, 5 courtyards joined together - each in a different style.*

The most disturbing thing about it is that they clearly have people watching you at all times - once I parked my bike outside a shop and went inside for a comparatively short period of time, and when I came out, there was a notice attached to my bike saying that it would be removed if it was seen again....or some such "big brother-esque" threat.

You're never alone at the Fünf Höfe.
